Quick-Thinking Lifeboat Crew Rescue Trio from Rough Seas
Walmer RNLI Lifeboat sprang into action at 1.23pm on Sunday after an urgent page at 1.16pm. Reports came in of three people spotted in the water off Kingsdown, sparking a swift rescue mission.
Safe and Sound on Shore
When the crew arrived, the trio was already safely ashore on the beach. The lifeboat team made sure everyone was unharmed before heading back out to the water.
Kayak Recovery and Vital Safety Reminder
The crew didn’t stop there. They relaunched to retrieve the drifting kayak and bring it safely back to shore. Lifeboat officials reminded the public how crucial it is to wear buoyancy aids when out at sea.
By 1.48pm, the lifeboat had returned to port, mission accomplished.
