Two men nabbed in major county lines drugs bust after raids in London and Ashford.
County Lines Crackdown Hits Ashford and London
Police smashed a county lines drug ring in a series of early morning raids on Wednesday 2 February 2022. Warrants were executed in south-west London targeting dealers peddling heroin and crack cocaine.
Three Arrested After Coordinated Raids
Two suspects were arrested at London addresses, while another was arrested shortly after in Ashford. Kevin McDonald, 35, from Enterprise Way, Wandsworth, and Aarron Conway, 47, of Newtown Green, Ashford, are now charged with conspiracy to supply heroin and crack cocaine.
Court Appearances and Bail
- McDonald appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 3 February and has been remanded in custody. He will face Canterbury Crown Court on 7 March.
- Conway was bailed and will appear at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on 7 March.
- A third man, 29, arrested in Wandsworth, has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
The police crackdown sends a clear message: county lines drug trafficking will not be tolerated in Ashford or London.
