Predator Sada Adem Gets Suspended Sentence After Stalking Women in London
Sada Adem, 30, from Archway Road, Haringey, was handed a 12-month suspended prison sentence at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on 30 March. Adem must complete 48 days of rehabilitation and 35 sessions of the Horizon programme designed for men with sexual convictions.
Strict Restrictions and GPS Monitoring Imposed
Adem will be GPS monitored and on a curfew from 9pm to 7am, Thursday to Sunday, for 12 months. He’s also banned from driving for two years and must pay £622 in costs. His Sexual Risk Order (SRO) remains active for five years, restricting his contact with women.
Off-Duty Detective Spots Adem Stalking Women in Clapham Junction
In November 2022, an off-duty detective spotted Adem following women making their way home after a night out in Clapham Junction. Adem fled before officers arrived, but police quickly identified and traced him back to Haringey.
Further intelligence linked Adem to multiple reports of harassment and stalking of young women across London.
Police Crack Down with Sexual Risk Order and Swift Arrest
Detective Constable Natalie Scagliarini promptly secured an interim SRO to stop Adem from approaching, communicating with, or following lone women. But Adem defied the order, prowling London’s nightlife hotspots in the early hours.
Specialist officers caught Adem in March at a Knightsbridge bar. When he tried to coerce a lone woman into his car, he was arrested on the spot for breaching his SRO.
Adem pleaded guilty to the breach on 6 March.
Detective Inspector Sanj Bhanot said: “Adem is a predator and a serious danger to women. He preyed on vulnerable women heading home after nights out. When criminal charges weren’t initially possible, we took the tough step of imposing a Sexual Risk Order. I thank all officers involved for their commitment and determination. Our fight to protect women from high-risk offenders like Adem continues.”
PC Natalie Scagliarini added: “Adem’s actions were sinister, hiding in dark spots at transport hubs waiting for vulnerable women. The SRO ensures strict restrictions and rehabilitation that he must follow. As a woman, a Londoner, and a police officer, I’m proud to work for the Met in making London safer for all women.”
