Teen Charged After Woman Stabbed in Ilford
A 16-year-old boy is set to appear in custody at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court this Wednesday, July 13. He faces serious charges of grievous bodily harm with intent and carrying a knife in public.
Stabbing Shocks Ilford Residents
On Friday, July 8, just after 8pm, police rushed to St Johns Road, Ilford, following reports of a stabbing. Officers found a 27-year-old woman suffering stab wounds to her back.
She was quickly taken to hospital, where medics confirmed her injuries were serious but thankfully not life-threatening or life-changing.
Police Hunt for Answers
Detectives from the Met’s East Area CID are leading the investigation. They’re appealing to the public for information to aid their enquiries.
