Man Faces Court Over Shocking Arson Attempt at North London Police Station

A 45-year-old man appeared in court today, Friday 13 November, following a dramatic incident at Edmonton Police Station in north London.

Arson Attempt and Dangerous Driving Charges

Adam Pawlowski of Goff’s Lane, EN7, was charged with attempted arson with intent to endanger life and criminal damage. During his hearing at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court, prosecutors slapped on an additional charge of dangerous driving.

Remanded in Custody Ahead of Crown Court Date

Pawlowski was remanded in custody and is set to return to Wood Green Crown Court on Wednesday, 16 December 2020.

Police Called to Vehicle Crash at Edmonton Police Station

The drama unfolded on Wednesday, 11 November, when police were alerted at 6.58pm to a vehicle crashing into a building on Fore Street, Edmonton. Emergency crews from London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade rushed to the scene. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
