Teens Arrested After E-Bike Found in Southsea Raid

Electric Bike Recovered in Early Morning Police Sweep

Police are hunting the owner of an electric bike found in Southsea in the early hours of Monday, 2 September. Officers were called to reports of suspicious activity on Outram Road at around 12:25 am.

Upon arrival, they located and recovered the e-bike nearby on Albert Road.

Two Teenagers from Portsmouth Nabbed

Two teenage boys, aged 15 and 16, from Portsmouth were arrested in connection with the bike. The 16-year-old was held on suspicion of pedal cycle theft and has since been released under investigation.

The 15-year-old was arrested for theft of a pedal cycle and possession of equipment for vehicle theft. He’s now been released on bail while enquiries continue.
