Husband Found Guilty of Killing Beloved Mum Dawn Rhodes

The family of Dawn Rhodes have broken their silence following the shocking conviction of her husband for her murder today, December 12. Their pain is raw as they celebrate Dawn’s life and mourn her loss.

A Bright Light Snuffed Out Too Soon

Dawn’s mother Liz and sister Kirsty Spencer paid an emotional tribute. “He took away a kind-hearted soul whose generosity never ran dry. For too long, his lies fooled everyone – but we always knew the truth.”

“She meant everything to us; he means nothing. Dawn will be remembered and celebrated, while he will be forgotten.”

Dawn: Devoted Daughter, Loving Mum, True Friend

Liz described Dawn as “a loving daughter, sister, and mother who found true joy in motherhood.” She added, “Dawn was caring, strong and always ready to help anyone in need. She was cherished by friends and family alike.”

Beyond family, Dawn was a natural leader at work, organising charity events and social gatherings at the Raven Housing Trust. “She was adored by all her colleagues,” said Liz. “She longed for a real partner – someone to love and trust.”

Sister Kirsty: “Dawn’s Voice Finally Heard”

Kirsty said bluntly: “There can be no justice for Dawn because she’s gone. But at last, her voice has been heard.”

“Despite everything, our family holds onto love. Dawn’s death shook us to the core, but we’re finding strength in her spirit.”

“She was my sister, and I loved her dearly,” Kirsty added.

Dawn’s Brother Darren Opens Up on Family’s Heartache

Darren reflected on the heartbreaking loss. “Dawn was my little sister – I would have done anything for her. It’s been devastating watching my children lose their auntie.”

He revealed Dawn’s life had grown dark before the tragedy. “She wasn’t the Dawn we knew. She was at breaking point.”

Yet her love for Christmas and her family shone through. “For Dawn, Christmas was magical. She threw herself into the festive spirit every year.”

Family Demands Support for Abused Women and Privacy to Grieve

Darren condemned the “twisted” mindset of the killer, who dragged a child under 10 into the horror. He called for urgent help for women trapped in abusive relationships. “Women suffering abuse need easier access to support – that’s the lesson here.”

The family pleaded for privacy. “This is a devastating chapter for us. Now that justice has been served, please let us grieve in peace.”
