Five Charged in Major East Kent Drug Bust
Five suspects have been hit with charges after police swooped on an alleged drugs ring in east Kent. On the morning of Thursday, 12 September 2024, officers executed search warrants at eight locations across Dover, Deal, Ramsgate, Chartham, and Dymchurch.
During the raids, cops seized suspected Class A drugs, cash, and weapons including three imitation firearms and a knuckleduster.
Heroin and Crack Cocaine Supply Charges
On Friday, 13 September, three men were charged with conspiracy to supply heroin and crack cocaine:
- James Larkin, 49, of Leivers Road, Deal
- Craig Amer, 46, and Kieren Majmander, 36, both from Ashford Road, Canterbury
Two 17-year-old boys from Dover, who cannot be named, were also charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine.
Court Dates Set for Suspects
All five suspects appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 13 September. The three men will face Canterbury Crown Court on 14 October. The two teenagers are due in Medway Youth Court on 19 September.
A 26-year-old man arrested during the investigation was released on bail, while a 35-year-old woman was released without charge.
