Man Jailed for Brutal Willesden Green Stabbing
A man has been found guilty of murdering Ricardo Clarke in a savage knife attack in Willesden Green. Elyas Moussa, 30, stabbed the 35-year-old before turning himself in from a nearby phone box.
Horrific Stabbing on Linacre Road
The deadly assault took place in the early hours of Saturday, 28 December 2024. Police rushed to Linacre Road at 4:16am after reports of a violent fight.
Officers desperately tried to save Ricardo, administering first aid until paramedics arrived. Tragically, Ricardo died en route to hospital from his wounds.
CCTV Reveals Violent Clash Before Fatal Stab
Police pieced together CCTV footage showing an earlier argument between Moussa and Ricardo. The row quickly escalated as the men threw glass bottles at each other before walking off.
But Moussa returned shortly after — now armed with a knife. A second confrontation erupted, ending in Ricardo’s fatal stabbing.
Moussa Confesses and Faces Murder Charge
Later the same day, Moussa rang police from a phone box miles from the scene, confessing and saying he wanted to hand himself in.
He was arrested and charged with murder and possession of a bladed article the next day, Sunday 29 December.
Moussa had already pleaded guilty to possessing a bladed weapon in public during an earlier hearing. He is due to be sentenced at the Old Bailey on Wednesday, 17 December.
