Tragic Motorcycle Death on A12 Near Chadwell Heath

A man in his 20s has died after a fatal crash on the A12 near Chadwell Heath. The collision involving his high-performance Kawasaki Ninja 650 KRT and a vehicle labeled as “1 A4” happened on Saturday evening.

Paramedics Fight to Save Rider, But Fate Sealed at Scene

Emergency crews rushed to Western Avenue West shortly after 6.20pm but were unable to save the motorcyclist. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police Investigate Crash, Ask Public for Help

Specialist collision investigators have been examining the crash site between Whalebone Lane North and Mawney Road throughout the evening. A Met Police spokesman said:

“Officers were called at approximately 6.20pm on Saturday, 22 February to reports of a road traffic collision on the eastbound carriageway of the A12, Romford. A motorcycle rider, a man believed aged in his 20s, died after coming off his bike.”

Road closures remain in place while inquiries continue. Police urge anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage to contact them on 101 with reference CAD6028/22Feb. No arrests have been made.
