Ashford Drug Dealer Busted and Locked Up

A suspected drug dealer from Ashford is behind bars after a swift police swoop. Jason Conway, 43, was nabbed by the Ashford Community Policing Team during a patrol in Victoria Park on April 24, 2020.

Charged with Class A Drug Offences and Knife Possession

Conway, who has no fixed address, was charged the very next day. He faces two counts of possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply and possession of a lock knife in public. On top of this, he’s also charged with damaging a police cell.

He appeared via virtual link at Medway Magistrates’ Court on April 27, where he was remanded in custody. His case is scheduled for the 1 Crown Court hearing on Friday, May 22.
