Man in 40s Flown to London Hospital After Shocking Assault in Folkestone

Kent Police rushed to New Street at 1.15pm on Thursday, October 6, after reports of a man being violently assaulted outside a local address.

Paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Service and an air ambulance arrived swiftly. The victim, a man in his 40s, suffered a serious head injury and was airlifted to a London hospital for urgent treatment.

Two Arrested in Folkestone Assault Probe

Officers wasted no time. By the same day, a 41-year-old and an 18-year-old, both from Folkestone, were in custody on suspicion of assault.

Police Hunt Witnesses With Dashcam Footage

The Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate are leading the investigation. They’re appealing for anyone who saw the attack or has dashcam footage of the incident in New Street to come forward.
