Drug Dealer Nabbed in Tunbridge Wells Crackdown
A suspected drug dealer has been caught red-handed in West Kent as police ramp up their fight against drug crime.
High-Speed Hunt Ends in Southborough
On Sunday, 17 November 2024, officers on patrol spotted a suspicious vehicle on London Road, Southborough. The car was tailed into Holden Park Road. When it stopped, the driver was arrested on the spot.
Police found 18 bags of what they believe is cocaine, plus a stash of cash and a mobile phone.
Man Charged and Held
The suspect, 27-year-old Emilijano Celaj from Broad Street, Dagenham, Essex, now faces multiple charges:
- Possession with intent to supply cocaine
- Driving without a licence
- Driving without insurance
Celaj appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 19 November and was sent to custody. He’s due back at Maidstone Crown Court on 16 December.
Kent Police Deliver Warning
A Kent Police spokesperson said:
“This arrest and subsequent charges show our commitment to tackling drug-related crime in our communities. We will keep targeting suppliers to ensure justice is served.”
