South East London Duo Among Nine Charged in High-Tech Business Break-In

Two suspects from south east London are caught up in a major police crackdown after a daring break-in at Discovery Park, a top science and technology hub in Sandwich, Kent.

Early Morning Raid Sparks Big Police Response

The break-in unfolded at around 3.30am on Monday, June 17, 2024. Police launched an extensive investigation, but details about the targeted business have been kept under wraps.

Charged with Violent Disorder and Aggravated Burglary

Following inquiries, the Crown Prosecution Service hit nine individuals with serious charges, including violent disorder, criminal damage, and aggravated burglary. The accused are:

  • Nasser Akhtar, 37, Spa Hill, Crystal Palace
  • Julija Brigadirova, 32, Larmuth Avenue, Manchester
  • Elliott Wilson, 25, Chestnut Grove, Liverpool
  • Maximilian Dixon, 29, Foxberry Road, Brockley, south east London
  • Nirad Abrol, 25, St George’s Close, Birmingham
  • Seiriol Davies, 30, Palmerston Street, Plymouth
  • Xavi Davies, 21, Stevenson Drive, Binfield
  • Eoin O’Meira, 34, King Square, Bristol
  • Hannah Davidson, 52, Calder Gardens, Edinburgh

Next Court Date at Old Bailey

All nine appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, May 1, 2025. The case was adjourned and will move to the Central Criminal Court (Old Bailey) on Friday, May 16, 2025.

Authorities have yet to say if the burglary was planned or opportunistic. The investigation continues.
