A 52-year-old man arrested after a huge 25-vehicle pile-up in Dartford has been released – but police are still hunting for witnesses.
Mass Crash Causes Mayhem on Hythe Street
The chaos unfolded at 6.48pm on Tuesday, May 29, when emergency services rushed to Hythe Street. The smash involved 25 vehicles, including a bus, leaving 16 people injured. Thankfully, none of the injuries were serious.
Driver Arrested and Released
Officers arrested a man from Northfleet on suspicion of careless driving. He has now been released while investigations continue. Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is working hard to piece together exactly what went down.
