Driver Arrested After Serious Crash on A406 North Circular
Police scrambled to the Crooked Billet Interchange on the A406 North Circular in London after a major crash in the early hours of Monday morning.
Two Men Trapped in Wreckage
Emergency crews, including London Ambulance Service, arrived at around 3:21 a.m. to find two men trapped inside a badly damaged vehicle.
Both were rescued and rushed to hospital. The driver suffered injuries described as non-life-threatening and non-life-changing. However, the passenger was left with life-changing injuries and remains under intensive medical care.
Driver Held on Dangerous Driving and DUI Charges
Police arrested the driver on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, as well as dangerous driving.
He is currently in custody while officers probe the full circumstances of the crash.
