Late-Night Brawl on High Street: Young Couple Assaulted by Gang
Just after midnight on Saturday, 14 May 2022, a man and woman in their 20s were caught up in a nasty altercation on the town’s High Street. After a brief verbal spat with an unknown woman, the couple continued walking – but trouble was far from over.
Four Men in Land Rover Launch Brutal Attack
Moments later, a black Land Rover Freelander screeched to a halt nearby. Four men jumped out and ruthlessly attacked the pair. Both victims were rushed to hospital by South East Coast Ambulance Service but have since been discharged.
Police Nab Four Suspects; Hunt Continues
By Monday 16 May, cops had arrested three men and one woman aged between 24 and 32. All four are in custody as the investigation heats up.
