Teen Charged Over Fatal E-Bike Crash in Grangemouth
A 17-year-old boy has been charged following the tragic death of Aaron McPherson. The teenager was involved in a collision between his e-bike and a car on Portal Road, Grangemouth, just before midnight on May 30, 2024.
Aaron McPherson Dies After Horrific Crash
Aaron, who was riding the e-bike, was rushed to hospital but sadly died from his injuries on June 15. An 18-year-old man was also arrested in connection with the incident but has since been released pending further inquiries.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Chief Inspector David MacGregor offered heartfelt condolences to Aaron’s family and friends. He confirmed police are supporting them through this devastating time and keeping them updated as the investigation continues.
“We urge anyone with information about this incident to come forward and help us with our enquiries,” said DCI MacGregor.
