Gunshot Horror in Bradford: Man Seriously Wounded in Manningham Car Park

Nighttime Shooting Shakes Bradford

A man in his twenties was seriously injured after a shooting in Manningham, Bradford, late Sunday night. The shooting happened shortly after 10pm in a car park off Oak Lane, near Victor Street. Police say it followed a heated verbal altercation involving several males.

West Yorkshire Police were alerted when ambulance crews took the victim to hospital with a gunshot wound. Thankfully, while his injuries are serious, they are not believed to be life-threatening.

Attempted Murder Probe Launched

Detectives from the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team have taken over the case and opened an attempted murder investigation. A crime scene remains cordoned off on Oak Lane as forensic teams work to piece together the events that led to the shooting.

Detective Inspector Suzanne Hall said: “This was a serious firearms offence, and we are treating it with the utmost seriousness. We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information that could assist our enquiries to come forward.

“We understand that incidents like this cause concern in the community, and I want to reassure residents that we are doing everything possible to investigate and bring those responsible to justice.”
