Man Stabbed at Gants Hill Roundabout in Broad Daylight
Chaos erupted at Gants Hill roundabout on Sunday lunchtime after a man was stabbed. The Metropolitan Police rushed to the scene just before midday following reports of a stabbing near the busy junction linking to the A12 Eastern Avenue.
Victim Hospitalised with Hand Injury
Officers found the victim with a stab wound to his hand. London Ambulance Service paramedics treated him at the scene before whisking him to hospital. Police confirmed the man is in a stable condition, with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
“Police were called at around midday to Gants Hill to reports of a man injured. Officers attended and found a man with a stab wound to his hand. He was taken to hospital in a stable condition. Enquiries are ongoing,” said a Met Police spokesperson.
Traffic Chaos as Emergency Services Respond
The stabbing triggered major delays around the Gants Hill roundabout. Sections of the road were temporarily closed, causing snarls on the A12 and nearby routes as police and paramedics dealt with the incident.
