A man in his 40s is on the run after allegedly sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl in broad daylight in Hartlepool. The terrifying incident happened around 5pm on Monday, 13 October, right in the middle of rush hour on Warren Road.

The young schoolgirl was walking when the suspect made lewd comments and tried to touch her arm and chest. Cleveland Police have branded this a serious sexual assault.
