Man Missing After Falling Off Boat in Dorset
Just before 2am on Monday 2 May 2022, Dorset Police were alerted that 24-year-old David Haw had plunged into the water from a rigid inflatable boat (RIB). Since then, a major search operation has been underway.
Massive Search Launched
Officers joined forces with HM Coastguard, the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), and DorSAR volunteers. They’ve been scouring the harbour and nearby areas all day, desperate to find David.
Who Is David Haw?
- White male, 5ft 10in tall
- Slim build
- Short mousey brown hair, shaved on sides and back, longer on top
- Short beard and bushy eyebrows
Police Plea for Help
“A coordinated multi-agency search and rescue effort has been going on since the initial report of David’s disappearance,” said Chief Inspector Darren Harris. “We will continue with our efforts to find David. If anyone has seen him, or a man matching his description, please contact us urgently.”
