Man Left Critical After Brutal Bexleyheath Road Rage Attack

Police are hunting witnesses after a violent road rage attack in Bexleyheath left a man fighting for his life. The shocking incident happened just before 5:30 AM on Tuesday, August 20, at the traffic lights on Erith Road.

Victim Suffers Serious Head Injury

Officers rushed to the scene where they found a man in his 30s with a severe head injury. The London Ambulance Service quickly arrived and rushed him to hospital. His condition remains critical, and his family are by his side as he fights for survival.

Suspect Arrested and Released on Bail

A 24-year-old man was arrested later that day on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. He was taken to a south London police station but has since been bailed as inquiries continue.

Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Out

Detective Constable Katie McGinn, leading the probe, said:

“I am keen to hear from anyone who either witnessed this incident or has dashcam footage. We believe the victim was hurt following a traffic incident that escalated into an altercation involving another motorist. If you saw anything or captured footage, please come forward.”
