Just before 3pm on Sunday, two fire engines roared to the busy motorway after reports of a vehicle ablaze. Firefighters dressed in breathing apparatus tackled the flames head-on using high-pressure hose reel jets.

Kent Police helped manage traffic and keep the public safe during the incident. Thankfully, no one was hurt. A Kent Fire and Rescue spokesperson confirmed the blaze was put out successfully, with the cause believed to be accidental.
