Thomas Patton of Pallister Park played a dangerous game of cat and mouse with cops before finally being caught at Newcastle Airport last October.
Fugitive Nabbed at Airport
Patton knew police wanted to question him but dodged them — until he was snapped arriving at Newcastle Airport on 16th October. The law finally caught up.
Charged with Multiple Violent Offences
After an interview, Patton faced a hefty list of charges: three counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH), two common assaults, intimidation, and coercive and controlling behaviour.
Denial Ends in Conviction
At his November court hearing, Patton denied all allegations. But a two-day trial in March ended with a conviction on all seven counts.
Jailed and Restricted
This week Patton was sentenced to three and a half years behind bars. He’s also slapped with a five-year restraining order to keep him in check.
