Pedestrian Dies in Horror Crash on A265, Broad Oak
A 22-year-old man has died after being hit by a car in Broad Oak, near Heathfield, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Tragic Collision on Quiet Road
The crash happened around 2.39am on the A265 involving a black Ford Fiesta. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, a 21-year-old from Etchingham, escaped without injuries.
Police Launch Appeal for Witnesses
Officers want to hear from anyone who saw a young man walking along the A265 between Broad Oak and Burwash Common from about 1am that day. They’re also keen to recover any dash cam or CCTV footage from the area.
