Three Teens Arrested After Brutal Assault at New Milton Sports Ground
Police swooped on three teenage suspects following a shocking attack at Fawcetts Fields Sports Ground, New Milton. The violent assault unfolded just before 9pm on Saturday, 26 June.
Teen victim suffers minor injuries
A 16-year-old boy from Brockenhurst was set upon by three attackers, according to a witness who reported the incident. The victim sustained minor injuries but thankfully nothing life-threatening.
Three 15-year-olds in custody
Officers tracked down and arrested the suspects nearby. All three are 15 years old:
- A boy from New Milton accused of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, and possession of a Class B drug.
- Another New Milton teen charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, attempted grievous bodily harm, and possession of a Class B drug.
- A Christchurch boy arrested for assault causing actual bodily harm.
All have now been released under investigation, pending further enquiries.
