A woman was bitten by a large black dog, believed to be a German Shepherd, just after 8.25am on Thursday 9 May 2024. The shocking attack happened while she waited at the level crossing on Sturry Hill and Island Road.

Dog Walkers Described as Two Women in Their 40s

The dog was reportedly being walked by two women, both in their 40s. One of the walkers was seen wearing a distinctive pink coat, helping police narrow down the suspects.
