Woman Dies After Collision on A12 Eastern Avenue
A woman in her 50s has died following a collision with a car on the A12 Eastern Avenue near Ellesmere Gardens, Ilford, on the evening of Wednesday, December 4. Emergency services were called at around 9:15pm.
Emergency Responders Rush Victim to Hospital
Officers from the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service attended the scene swiftly. The pedestrian was treated at the roadside before being rushed to hospital. Despite medics’ best efforts, she tragically passed away.
Driver Cooperating as Police Launch Investigation
The driver stopped at the scene and is fully cooperating with the police investigation. No arrests have been made so far. The victim’s next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers.
