Fatal Crash Near Sissinghurst Castle Claims Local Man’s Life
Tragedy struck on Wednesday afternoon as a red Ford Fiesta and blue Nissan Note smashed into each other on the A262 Sissinghurst Road at around 4.45pm.
The deadly collision happened close to the junction for Sissinghurst Castle. Emergency crews rushed to the scene, but sadly the Nissan’s driver, a 50-year-old local man, was pronounced dead at once.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
His family have been informed, and officers are piecing together exactly what caused the fatal crash. They’re asking anyone who saw the vehicles just before the smash or has dashcam footage from the area to get in touch.
