Thugs Smash Garage in Broad Daylight Burglary Attempt!
Police are hunting two men who tried to break into a garage in Chilworth on Tuesday, December 27. The duo forced their way into a garage attached to a house on 1 Lane just after 12.45pm – but fled empty-handed after the owner turned up unexpectedly.
Though nothing was stolen, the garage door suffered several hundred pounds worth of damage.
Police Want These Men Spotted
PC David Fuge of Southampton CID said: “We are looking to speak to these two men in connection with this attempted burglary. Did you see them in the area? Do you recognise their clothing? If so, call 101 quoting 44160486232.”
Suspect Descriptions
- Man 1: White, 18-30 years old, medium build, facial hair. Wearing dark clothes, black beanie hat, black gloves, dark tracksuit bottoms with stripes, and dark trainers.
- Man 2: White, chubby build. Wearing a light (possibly grey) hooded top and matching jogging bottoms, dark gloves, and dark trainers with white soles.
