Follow the ‘Solid Diamond’ Diversions
Drivers are urged to follow the official “Solid Diamond” diversion route to avoid gridlock:
- Exit M3 eastbound at Junction 3.
- At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A322 Bracknell Road.
- Continue for 0.5 miles, pass under the A30, then join the slip road to the A30 London Road.
- Turn left onto the A30, travel roughly 8 miles through Sunningdale to Egham.
- At Egham Bypass roundabout, take the second exit onto the A30.
- At the next roundabout with the A308, take the second exit.
- Follow signs to the M25 junction 13 interchange and circumnavigate the roundabout.
- Take the fourth exit to join the A30, which merges with the M25 anti-clockwise carriageway.
- Continue on the M25 to Junction 12, then use the nearside lanes to rejoin the M3 eastbound link road.
