A woman in her 50s has died following a devastating six-vehicle collision on the M40 near Gaydon, Warwickshire. The crash happened on Saturday night and involved a Peugeot van and five other cars. Emergency teams rushed to the scene but sadly one woman lost her life.

Driver Flees on Foot – Police Launch Manhunt

Warwickshire Police are hunting a 23-year-old man, Akashdeep Singh – also known as Akash – who allegedly fled the crash on foot. Singh is believed to have links around the West Midlands, particularly Oldbury in Sandwell. Police have released his photo, urging the public to help find him.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

“Investigations are ongoing and we are keen to locate Akashdeep Singh. If anyone has information or dashcam footage of the crash, the Peugeot van, or the driver’s behaviour before the collision, please get in touch,” said Warwickshire Police.
