Witnesses Needed in Fatal Battersea Crash

Detectives are hunting for key witnesses after a deadly crash in Battersea claimed two lives.

Tragic Collision on Battersea Park Road

Police were called at 8.20pm on Friday, 30 August 2019, following a collision between a motorcyclist and a pedestrian on Battersea Park Road. A 34-year-old woman tragically died at the scene from her injuries. The 40-year-old motorcyclist was rushed to hospital but died two days later on Sunday, 1 September.

Police Seek Two Unidentified Bikers

Officers have released images showing two motorcyclists seen moments before the smash. Detectives believe these riders hold vital information about the incident.

DS Andy Russell, from the Roads and Transport Policing Command, said: “The riders of these motorbikes have not yet come forward and it may be they are unaware of the severity of this incident. We believe they may be key witnesses and have information that could help our investigation and we would ask them to call police as soon as possible.”
