Tragic Blaze Claims Life in Harlesden Block of Flats

Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters rushed to a fire at a Harlesden block of flats on St Mary’s Road in the early hours.

Man Dies After Flat Fire on Sixth Floor

The fire broke out in a flat on the sixth floor of the seven-storey building, causing significant damage. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus found a man inside. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Fire Under Control Within an Hour

The Brigade was alerted at 1.43am and managed to bring the blaze under control by 2.51am. Crews from Park Royal, North Kensington, Wembley, and surrounding stations attended the emergency.

Cause of Fire Under Investigation

The London Fire Brigade and Metropolitan Police Service are currently investigating the cause of the fire. No further details have been released.
