Firefighters Battle High-Risk, Large-Scale Blaze

More than 150 firefighters from southeast London stations are on the scene, using turntable ladders, hose layers, and command units to tackle the inferno. They face added danger from pressurised gas cylinders stored in the complex.

The fire is currently classified as a major incident. Crews are working through the night trying to contain the fire and stop it spreading to neighbouring units.

“The presence of gas cylinders has elevated the risk, so we’re deploying a very cautious containment approach,” a London Fire Brigade spokesperson said.

The Met Police and London Fire Brigade have yet to release official updates but are expected to provide more information shortly.
