Missing Man Spotted on Train After Break-Down Drama

Anthony Brown vanished after being last seen at Higham train station on Thursday, 18 January 2024. He was reported missing three days later on Sunday, 21 January.

CCTV Shows Brown at Northfleet Station

New CCTV footage reveals Mr Brown boarding a train at 4.50pm, which arrived at Northfleet station by 5.02pm.

The 5ft 10in man, with grey hair and grey-blue eyes, had been stranded near the M25 after his car broke down. He is from Reading.

Police Urge Locals to Help Find Anthony Brown

“We now know that Mr Brown got off the train at Northfleet station around 5pm but do not know where he went next,” said Insp Lee Cheesman. “He may have travelled elsewhere, but we’re asking everyone in the Northfleet area to check sheds and outbuildings — he could need help. We are carrying out a thorough search.”

Brown has connections to Gravesend, Woodley in Berkshire, Richmond in London, and possibly Surrey.
