Dartford Man Busted with Knife and Drugs After Suspicious Car Stop
Police Patrol in Market Street Leads to Arrest
On Monday 24 April 2023, officers on proactive patrol in Dartford spotted a suspicious car in Market Street. When they approached, the three men inside were told to exit the vehicle. One man immediately tried to flee on foot.
Knife and Suspected Drugs Found
Police quickly stopped the man and conducted a search. They found a knife and a quantity of suspected cannabis. The 19-year-old was promptly arrested on the spot.
David Oborevwori Charged and Bailed
Identified as David Oborevwori from Temple Hill, Dartford, he now faces charges for possessing a bladed weapon and cannabis possession. He was bailed and will appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 31 May.
