Tragic Death of Pensioner in New Milton Lorry Crash
Police are hunting witnesses after an 89-year-old woman was fatally hit by a lorry in New Milton on Monday afternoon.
Elderly Woman Killed in Station Road Smash
Margaret Fraser, from Waverley Road, was walking along Station Road shortly after 1pm when she was struck by a DAF lorry. Despite emergency efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Seek Dash Cam Footage and Eyewitnesses
Officers are investigating the exact cause of the collision and urge anyone who saw what happened, or has dash cam footage, to come forward.
“We want to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident to help piece together what led to this tragic event,” said police spokesperson.
