Northumberland Tragedy: Motorcyclist Killed in Smash

Police in Northumberland are hunting for witnesses after a fatal road crash near Christon Bank. A 34-year-old motorcyclist died following a collision with a Fiat 500 on the B1340 on Saturday afternoon.

Crash Details Revealed

The smash happened at around 1:20pm when the Yamaha motorbike collided head-on with a Fiat 500 car. Emergency crews rushed to the scene but sadly could not save the biker.

The female driver of the Fiat suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital.

Police Appeal for Information

Northumbria Police have launched a full investigation. Sgt Michael Parnaby of the Motor Patrols said: “Our thoughts are with the family at this difficult time. We urge anyone with information or dashcam footage related to the crash to come forward.”
