Two men have been charged with the brutal murder of 21-year-old Finbar Sullivan, who was stabbed to death on Primrose Hill, north London. Alexis Bidace and Ernest Boateng, both 25, are set to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court today.
Tragic Attack on Busy Primrose Hill
The chilling attack happened on the evening of 7 April at around 6.30pm at Primrose Hill’s popular viewpoint. The area was packed with people enjoying the sunny weather and holidays when police were called after reports of a fight. Despite paramedics rushing to the scene, Finbar was pronounced dead. Another man, believed to be in his 20s, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital.
Previous Charges and Family Heartbreak
- 18-year-old Khalid Abdulqadir has been charged with grievous bodily harm, violent disorder, and possession of a knife.
- Oliuwadamilola Ogunyankinnu, 27, was charged with Finbar’s murder and appeared before magistrates earlier this week.
Finbar’s father, Christopher Sullivan, 65, told the Daily Mail his son had gone out to test a new camera he’d received for his birthday. Finbar dreamed of following in the footsteps of his grandfather, famed cameraman Michael Seresin, who worked on films like Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban and Rambo III.
“This is the worst tragedy I could ever imagine. He’s my only son… I had him when I was 45. He can never be replaced.” – Christopher Sullivan
