A man in his 40s remains critically ill after suffering a serious head injury in a vicious assault at Newcastle’s Byker Metro Station.
Attack Details
The shocking attack happened at around 11pm on Monday, 13 April, on Raby Street. The victim is currently fighting for his life in hospital.
Police Launch Urgent Appeal
Specialist officers are supporting the victim’s family while launching a full investigation. A Northumbria Police spokesperson urged: “Anyone with information can send Northumbria Police a direct message on social media or use live chat and report forms on the official website.” They added: “Those unable to make contact in these ways can call 101.
