Blaze Rips Through East London Property
Firefighters have rushed to tackle a fierce blaze that has completely engulfed a building in East Ham, East London, this Sunday evening.
Massive Fire Response Underway
A huge cordon blocks off Sherrards Road as around eight fire engines and 60 firefighters battle the well-developed fire. The flames have swallowed the entire property and now threaten nearby homes.
Investigation Launched
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation. The London Fire Brigade confirmed their ongoing efforts to control the situation and promised updates soon.
“We are currently attending a fire on Sherrards Road in #Newham. There are eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters at the scene,” a London Fire Brigade spokesman said.
