Firefighters Tackle Late-Night Blaze in Hampstead Home
A fierce fire tore through the lower-ground floor of a detached house on West Heath Road, Hampstead, in the early hours of September 3rd. Around 25 firefighters and four fire engines rushed to the scene shortly after 1:30am to battle the blaze.
No Injuries as Fire Brings Neighbourhood Alarm
The fire, which damaged part of the property, was brought under control by 3:10am thanks to crews from Soho, Kentish Town, and Finchley fire stations. Luckily, no one was injured during the incident, but local residents were woken by the sound of sirens and emergency vehicles.
Cause of Fire: Accidental but Undetermined
Early investigations suggest the fire was accidental. However, the exact cause remains undetermined. The London Fire Brigade praised the quick and effective response, which prevented the blaze from spreading and minimised damage.
