Two men charged following fatal lorry crash in Bath

Two men charged following fatal lorry crash in Bath Avon and Somerset Police have charged two men in connection with the road traffic collision Bath in which four people died. The incident took place on Lansdown Lane on February 9 when a tipper truck carrying aggregate was in collision with a number of vehicles and two pedestrians.

Today (10/12), Phillip John Potter, 19, of Little Middle Green Farm, Dauntsey, Wiltshire, has been charged with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving and two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. Matthew Gordon, 29, of Chestnut Farm, Dauntsey, Wiltshire, has been charged with two counts of aiding, abetting, counselling and procuring/aiding and abetting cause Bath Magistrates’ Court on January 21 in 2016
