Three Pulled from Water at Camber Sands: Urgent Rescue Underway
At around 2.15pm today (Wednesday 24 August), the UK Coastguard received an urgent call. Three people were pulled from the water at Camber Sands, desperately needing medical help.
Rescue Teams Rush to Scene
- UK Coastguard search and rescue helicopters from Lydd and Lee on Solent were scrambled immediately.
- Dungeness and Rye Bay Coastguard Rescue Teams joined the effort.
- Rye Harbour RNLI lifeboat is also on site.
- A Senior Coastal Operations Officer is coordinating the response at the scene.
- An air ambulance has been dispatched to provide urgent medical aid.
