CCTV Released After Brutal Broad Street Robbery and Assault

Police have launched an urgent appeal after a violent robbery in Reading left two men injured. The attack happened on Broad Street, near Chain Street, between 3.30am and 3.45am on 23rd December.

Victims Suffer Eye and Head Injuries

The victims – a 25-year-old and a 28-year-old – were set upon by a group of men. One man suffered an injury to his eye, while the other was left with head injuries. Both were rushed to Royal Berkshire Hospital but have since been discharged.

Stolen Phone and Keys

During the ordeal, the attackers stole a mobile phone and a set of keys from the victims. Police are now desperate to hear from anyone who knows the culprits.

Detective’s Plea: “Come Forward Now”

Detective Constable Laura Peacock of Reading Local CID said: “I am appealing for the men shown in this CCTV image to come forward as they could have information vital to our investigation. If anyone recognises these men, or has any information relating to this incident, please contact Thames Valley Police on 101.”
