Body Found at Monks Ferry in Birkenhead
Tragedy struck early Wednesday morning as a man’s body was pulled from the water at Monks Ferry, Birkenhead.
Emergency Services Respond
At around 6.10am, police received a call after a member of the public spotted the man in the water. Police, Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service, and the Coastguard rushed to the scene but sadly confirmed he had died.
Death Not Treated as Suspicious
The man’s identity remains unknown as enquiries continue. Authorities are working to notify his next of kin. “The death is not being treated as suspicious at this stage,” police said.
