Coastguards Rush to Rescue After Man Gets Stuck in Mud on River Medina
Two coastguard search and rescue teams from Ventnor and Needles were scrambled this afternoon after reports of a person trapped in mud on the River Medina.
Called out just after 1.10pm, crews quickly made contact with the man. Luckily, he was sitting safely on the riverbank and not in any immediate danger.
Rescue teams promptly gave him safety advice before standing down.
