Three Men Arrested Over Fatal Feltham Shooting
Detectives have arrested three men following the fatal shooting of 25-year-old Edward Simpson in Feltham on Friday, 21 June.
Suspects in Custody
A 27-year-old man was arrested on Monday, 24 June on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody at a West London police station. Two more men, aged 26 and 22, were arrested the next day, 25 June, also on suspicion of murder and are being questioned by officers.
Tragic Scene at Exeter House
Police were called to Exeter House on Watermill Way at 11.08pm on 21 June after reports of a shooting. Armed officers, London’s Air Ambulance, and paramedics rushed to the scene and found Edward critically injured. Paramedics fought to save him but he was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.
Edward’s next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers. Detectives are confident the deceased is Edward Simpson of Feltham, though formal identification is pending.
Investigation Underway
A post-mortem at Fulham Mortuary on Sunday, 23 June revealed a single gunshot wound to the upper body as the provisional cause of death. Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command have opened an incident room to handle the investigation.
Officers urge anyone who was in the area or heard the gunshots to come forward. The scene is surrounded by homes, and police believe vital information is out there.
